We're talking the board game, Risk. World domination. Yeah!

If we get the maximum 10 that I've set for this meetup, then that would be 2 games of 5 players each. I've only got one game though ... does anyone have another? I foresee pizza and an assortment of other junk food playing a part of this meetup too :)

Directions to 43 James Street (Etobicoke, NOT the James Street in downtown Toronto), here are some options: 1. TTC Streetcar 501 coming from downtown Toronto -- it starts on Queen Street and ends up on Lakeshore West. Get off at 37th Street in Etobicoke, and walk one block South to James Street, then one and a half blocks west to number 43; 2. TTC Subway to Islington, then bus route 110 goes down Lakeshore West as above; 3. Go Train to Long Branch Station. Walk east along Lakeshore until 39th Street, then one block South to James Street, then half block east to number 43.

No, really Andrew. Vlad was positioned to take green in Africa. All the green became his. He crossed over to N America in Siberia and over powered blue and then it only took a couple of minutes for him to achieve world dominance by taking red.

Hey Marija, I changed the limit to 11 so you can come. If we get perfect attendance then my son and I can just play as one player.

I've upped the people limit to 10. That way we can have 2 games of 5 players each, and in case anyone cancels last minute or wants a break and just feels like socializing, 4 players still makes a really good game.

The 2nd grp tried to play a new version of Risk using the old rules and some made up rules as we went. Not having played before, I thought we were somewhat successful. If Andrew knew that he would be able to capture all the capitals in the next turn, would he have stayed?
