Magda asked to go dining in the dark.

This was a very unique experience and it'll be great to do this again. Basically, after our group gathers, we are led through a double set of doors into absolute, utter, terrifying can't see your hand in front of you darkness. Nietzchean, dark night of the soul darkness. Okay, maybe not that intense, but pretty unique in any case.

The point is to appreciate your food with senses other than sight. To experience what it might be like if you did not have sight but relied on your other faculties for dining and conversation. The servers are partially blind. They have a fixed price menu with fine food and a choice of either one, two, or three courses. If we can get a guaranteed number of people to show up (fifteen or more), they will give us a group rate of $24 per person for one course, $28 for two courses, and $32 for three courses, not including taxes and gratuities. You can check out their website for their menu:

See you there...
or not-see-you there, I guess. cool

If you need a little extra time to get there after work, that's okay. You can drift in late.

Glad I went! Had some good laughs. =0)
    •  It was a little pricey, however, the experience was worth it.
    •  That was quite the little story our group created - I wish my life WAS like that.

I really appreciate my sense of sight. It was an interesting experience. I'd recommend this to other people. Btw...the shrimp risotto was great.
