Nuit Blanche Zone B
hello Introvert Socialites,
it's great to see such a good response to the event. Can those of you who replied 'Maybe' please change your RSVP to let us know if you'll be coming or not - we need to get a solid idea of who'll be there.
We'll meet at 8:00 at the North West corner of Queen and Victoria in front of the rust coloured statue thing of the nude people. This is outside the Tim Horton's and not inside.
Here is a tentative list of the things we will go see. Since we'll meet right between Zone A and Zone B, it makes sense to see a few things from both zones. It's tentative because some things may have very long lineups or time may force us to change plans slightly. Also, the list is pretty ambitious so we may skip a few things. We'll see. If at any time, you feel like you want to drift off and check out things on your own, feel free.
-Massey Hall: Space Becomes the Instrument
-Yonge-Dundas Square: Dance Like No One is Watching
-Atrium on Bay: The Sonic Fun House
-Eaton Centre (underground pathway): Speed Shift
-Church of the Holy Trinity: The Blinking Eyes of Everything
-City Hall: Night Equals Day
-Old City Hall: Audio Parade & Hey Dave!
-Sheraton Centre Hotel: Skry-Pod
-200 Bay St: Gone Indian
-181 Bay Street: Witches Cradles
-Bay between Adelaide and King: Wild Ride
-Scotia Plaza: Sounding Space
-First Canadian Place: How to Win the Lottery
-TMX Broadcast Centre Gallery: Monopoly With Real Money
-Observation Station (1 University): Bright Lights, Big City
-Union Station: Imminent Departure & 10 Cents
You might want to print this list out and bring it with you. Since the weather will be temperemental at best, please wear warm clothing and bring an umbrella. Remember when we used to take field trips in elementary school and you were asked to buddy up? If you already know someone in the group, buddy up with them or find people to buddy up with when we meet, just in case we drift apart.
I'll be the guy with an orthopaedic boot on my right leg, wrapped in a plastic shopping bag. Looking forward to seeing all of you there.

I'm trying to organize different types of events - different from just coffee and dinner in order to spice things up.
I don't know if this will appeal to people but hopefully, the idea of walking around at night and checking out unusual art installations outdoors will be interesting to people:

I'm planning on meeting people around 8:00 at the North West corner of Queen and Victoria (that's one block east of Yonge and Queen) -outside the Time Horton's - and then walking around Zone B:

I'm going to stay downtown but if anybody wants to organize groups that want to check out Zones A and C, please feel free to go ahead. I guess that we'll have to buddy up and talk in couples as we walk around and check stuff out because this will be more of a walking meetup than a sit down one. If anybody would like to help me out in terms of directing the group as we walk around, please let me know. I'd love as much help as I can get.
Is there any contact number for the organizers, if anyone would like to confirm the meetup?
