The Rivoli does a really good sketch comedy night on Tuesdays. It's a little more intelligent and intimate than the usual comedy club. It's held in the back room of the Rivoli. I can rave about at least one of the groups that's scheduled to go on this night. Approximately 3 Peters is intelligent, quirky, and inventive. They really do interesting sketch stuff in the tradition of Kids in the Hall and good SNL. Of course, it's also a good place to grab a drink and catch up with fellow group members. The cost is a donation (suggested at least $5) which goes to the person in front of the back room.
