Java Joes - One on One Discussion
This location is shown only to members
Some of us having been going to Introvert Social for a while, and we don't always get face-time with each other to really know who we really are.
We'll Set up tables at Java Joes and allow 2 people to have one on ones for a set time.
So we can all get to know each other better.
Let's be social!
We'll do the One on One for 1 1/2 hours and then have our regular Meetup.
The Music will begin at 6:30PM Sharp!
Please show up Early!
After Java Joes closes at 10:00 PM, we headed out for dessert or a party!

We were thinking something like 10 minutes of talking per person. It's not like speed dating where you're giving interviews to see if this is someone you want to date. We're just getting to know eachother better.

Hi, Spoke to Java Joes and they have reserved spaces for 30 people. They are willing to stay open late for us till 10PM.

Take the Bloor subway to Royal York station. Then take either the 48-Rathburn or the 73-Royal York bus and get off at Government Road. Walk along the pathway to Dundas, continue east (right from the direction the bus was going) to the traffic lights/cross walk. Cross the street and Java Joe's is right in front of you. :)

JaA neat idea to have one on ones. I wonder if there's a actual flow model out there to organize this optimally. Also it was quite a social group, were there many true introverts? Thanks to Aimee! But what about Bishop???

GregoryA little skeptical at first, I really enjoyed this meetup. The concept was great, and you end up getting a real sense of who you are meeting with. Thanks guys for such a great time.

So you've taken the concept of speed dating and removed the dating part of it (so just "speed")? I don't know if I want to do speed. LOL (I love words don't you?). Maybe that's not a good term for it... musical chairs implies a elementary school birthday party... and my attempt at a replacement was an excellent fail).
So it's introvert speed friending? :)
